Academy of christian discipleship

Taught by whitworth university professors

Whitworth's Academy of Christian Discipleship provides church members with

high-quality lectures, study content, interactive Q & A sessions, and discipleship activities by top university professors. It is structured not merely to inform us about Christ but to form Christ’s character in us.

This academic year we are forming a Timberview cohort to engage together in a process of not only growing as disciples, but as disciplers using “The Third Way.”

The Third Way is something Christians today can learn from the Early Church about being a faithful, courageous, and effective witness to the Gospel in the face of opposition. This year the lectures will be streamed videos, released on the first of the month, beginning October 1st. Mid-month, there will be a question and answer session with the Whitworth professor on Whitworth’s campus, followed by a Timberview cohort meeting at Timberview on the last Sunday of the month. The program will cost $100 for the year. (It is a tremendous value!)
